Tui na massage is an ancient Chinese manipulative therapy, which is often done with acupuncture, moksha and cup therapy.
In Ancient China, medical treatments were split between internal and external treatments. Tui Na is an external treatment and it's purpose is to bring balance to the body and the Qi energy inside.
Tui means „ push“ and Na
means „ lift and squeeze“.
The massage is done through clothing and the masseur uses methods such as: stroking, meddling, pressing, rolling, pushing. During the massage, energy starts moving in your body. The pushes are strong, which means that the first few times may be slightly painful. The more blockages (stopped energy) there are, the more painful these areas will be.
Often the pain will decrease already during the massage. Tui Na massage makes stopped energy move again and by doing this improves the work of all organs, improves blood supply, relaxes muscles and reduces pain. Helps treat severe or chronic bone and muscle diseases and pains, is great for alleviating muscle pains after sporting or alleviating neck, back or headaches.
